All-You-Can-Eat Data on Three
What is All-you-can-eat data on Three?
Some mobile networks have strict limits on the amount of data you can use, and others have hidden or unfair fair use policies that restrict the speed and amount that you can download. This can make choosing a mobile plan a real pain - particularly if you need a lot of data or your usage changes significantly each month. At Three we like to make things simple - and so with an All-you-can-eat data plan you can literally use the internet as much as you like without ever needing to fret about unexpected charges, limits and fair use policies.
So what's unlimited?
Pretty much everything, but to give you a flavour:
Browsing the internet - visit as many websites as you like. We love the internet and know you do too
Maps and navigation - so you never have an excuse to get lost again
Downloading and using apps - this is what your mobile's made for, so do loads of it!
Streaming - high definition video and music while you're out and about
..and what isn't?
These are the only restrictions that apply:
Tethering - this is where you use your phone as a personal wifi hotspot. You still get 2GB a month on our mobile plans, and on The One Plan SIM-Only it's completely unlimited
Use abroad - although when in a Feel at Home country it does include a generous 25GB a month. Tethering isn't included
How do I get All-you-can-eat data?
The most affordable way to get All-you-can-eat data on Three is with a SIM-Only plan. This is perfect for if you're happy with your existing smart phone. If you're after a new handset then check out our full range of mobile phones instead. Below we've listed a few of our favourite clearance deals - which all come with an unlimited data plan:
Do I need an unlimited data plan?
Possibly not - which is why Three's contract handset and SIM-Only plans come with a range of data allowances to suit everyone. If you're a light user, Three's 500MB plans will be plenty for browsing the web, checking your emails and watching the occasional video. If you do a lot of social networking and download apps while you're out and about you'll probably want Three's 1GB or 2GB plan instead. All-you-can-eat data is best suited to anyone who streams music and video regularly, downloads large apps and films and generally wants to have a futureproof mobile plan that will cater for their growing data needs.
Is All-you-can-eat data available for pay as you go?
It certainly is! In order to get All-you-can-eat data on pay as you go you will need to purchase an All in One 15 Add-on using your available mobile credit. The same 25GB international use restriction applies, and you can't tether on pay as you go - but otherwise it is a truly unlimited data plan. Check out the full range of Three pay as you go plans and phones today.
Is All-you-can-eat data available for mobile broadband?
Unfortunately Three don't offer All-you-can-eat data plans for mobile broadband - and it isn't possible to use an All-you-can-eat SIM in a mobile broadband device without incurring additional charges. However, if you are already a customer who has The One Plan SIM-Only deal, you get to keep your unlimited tethering as long as you don't move to another plan.
Does All-you-can-eat data work with 4G?
It does - and is the perfect partner! As 4G is being rolled out across the UK more and more people are getting access to superfast data speeds. While having 4G in itself doesn't increase the amount of data you consume, it does open up a world of new opportunities, from downloading movies to streaming high fidelity music. We're offering 4G to all of our customers as part of our 4G for the price of 3G promise - so grabbing an All-you-can-eat data plan is a sure-fire way to make sure you're making the most of it.
